Russian Ivanhoe Film

I've been rereading  Ivanhoe from the very first chapter and totally enjoying it.

Also, shame I didn't know about this film until recently but anyway I've just watched the Soviet film version of Ivanhoe "The Ballad of the Viliant Knight Ivanhoe (Баллада о доблестном рыцаре Айвенго" (1982) for the first time and liked it a lot.
Of course the story is trimmed and modified, and there is even a long sequence (thinking of the entire length of the film) with ... looong eye-contact between Wilfrid and Rowena associated with an almost corny song, where they are not supposed to meet each other in the book.
And I daresay that the sound effect is totally Jim Henson's Labyrinth, e.g. fanfare sound at the lists is out of synthesizer.

But in whole, I liked it very much.
Wish I could understand Russian... or is there any translated version? 

Richard again

I don't know why do I keep posting things regarding Richard I,  but here he is again, a new sketch for the website.

Maybe it's my fault that I chose his nickname (in Ivanhoe) for the website.

I should draw more of King Alfred, and other characters of Ivanhoe.

But I think I want my Twitter account to tweet my renewed love for Ivanhoe. Hah.

Migration finished

Finally! I could finish this Blogger Migration thing before Google terminates the FTP service.
I messed up something in the middle and failed to put up the "has moved to" entry properly in the previous address, though.
Oh well.
Anyway, thank you for your patience.

Blog Migration

As some of you may have noticed, I have been trying to "migrate" my Blogger.
It has not properly set up yet, so you may see some more meaningless feeds or confusion in URL redirecting.

I am sorry for the mess! Hopefully it'll be finished by the end of April, which is the deadline of this Migration thing.
